Cambri and Brian’s wedding day was the kind of celebration that didn’t just look beautiful—it felt beautiful. With every detail grounded in real feelings and genuine moments, their day was a true reflection of who they are: romantic, thoughtful and completely in love.

The overall vibe? Clean. Classic. Natural. Joyful. Cinematic. Emotive. Authentic. It wasn’t just about pretty details (though there were plenty of those)—it was about storytelling at its finest. The Pride and Prejudice, but modern and personal. A love story told in a way that was documentary-style, artsy, and deeply moving, all captured with true-to-color edits that brought every moment to life in a timeless way.

A Jane Austen Dream Brought to Life: Castle Wedding

Cambri has always adored all things Jane Austen—especially Pride and Prejudice. So when she started dreaming up her wedding, it was only natural that she’s want it to feel like it belonged in that era, And she absolutely nailed it.

Her color palette of roal purple and deep green set the tone for the day: regal, elegant, and richly romantic. She and Brian chose Wadley Farms for their venue. a castle-like estate truly felt like a portal to another time. With its ivy-covered walls, grand halls, and ethereal charm, the venue couldn’t have been more perfect for Cambri’s vision.

The Scottish Tradition

Brian is originally from Scotland, and several beautiful cultural traditions were woven into the ceremony to honor his roots. One sweet and meaningful touch was a Higland cow gifted by his mother—a nod to Scottish heritage and tradition. In Scotland, Highland cows represent strength, resilience, and a connection to the rugged Highlands. Including one in their celebration was both adorable and symbolic.

The couple also included a traditional handfasting ritual during the ceremony, where they literally “tied the knot.” This ancient Celtic custom symbolizes two people becoming bound together in unity and love—it’s where the modern phrase comes from, and it was such a meaningful moment during their vows.

Later, Cambri and Brian drank from a Quaich, a shallow two-handled cup used in Scottish weddings to symbolize trust and the joining of two families. While it’s often passed among family members, the couple chose to share the drink just between the two of them—a quiet, powerful gesture marking the beginning of their new life together.

A Dance That Stole the Show

As a dance major and lifelong performer, Cambri brought something truly magical to the reception: a choreographed father-daughter dance that felt straight out of a Jane Austen ballroom. It was elegant, heartfelt, and beautifully executed—making guests feel like they’d stepped into a Regency-era novel. Every movement told a story, adding another layer of timeless romance to the day.

Their own kind of Scottish Castle Wedding

At its core, Cambri and Brian’s wedding wasn’t about trends—it was about them. Their personalities, their passions, their cultures, and their love. It was authentic, cinematic, and filled with emotional storytelling that truly captured the essence of their relationship.

From the castle setting to the Scottish rituals, and the regal colors to the choreographed dance, their wedding was a genuine, emotion-based celebration—crafted with love and captured in a way that will remain timeless forever.
