Chrissa and Derek chose their Utah County wedding venue intentionally when they chose Castle Park Weddings and Events. Basically, it was the perfect space for a luxurious, classic, and timeless experience. Certainly, their wedding was full of so much love, joy, and laughter. These wedding photos and videos can best be described as documentary and cinematic with true to color, classic edits. Our mission as the photographer and videographer is to tell the story of the day as it naturally unfolds and we did just that at this beautiful, fairytale wedding at Castle Park Wedding and Events.
Tear jerker moments of the day
One of our favorite parts about Chrissa and Derek’s special day at this Utah County Wedding Venue was Chrissa’s first look with her son. Chrissa’s son, Carter is about 13 years old, and so for the last 13 years, it has been Chrissa and Carter against the world. They have helped each other through so many hardships and celebrated so many happy moments together. Furthermore, Chrissa and Carter’s bond is unbreakable. Nonetheless, It only felt natural for Chrissa to want to share a first look moment with her son before he walked her down the aisle to her future husband.
When Chrissa tapped her teenager on the shoulder and he turned around to see his beautiful mother all dressed in white, they both were brought to tears. Tears of joy, tears of triumph and tears of love. The two of them held each other as they held onto the last few moments they had together before those big doors swung open.
Finally, when those double doors finally did open, It was Derek’s turn to see Chrissa all dressed in white. A beautiful silence fell upon the wedding guests. Now it was Derek who was brought to tears. The intense joy and peace that emulated from Derek and Chrissa as she walked down the aisle could be felt by everyone in attendance. Meanwhile, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

Undeniable, We have to give a little shoutout to this incredible wedding venue! Chrissa and Derek’s ceremony in the castle felt like a scene from a fairytale. Surely, It was unreal! I think it’s safe to say that in every girl’s heart there is a desire to get married in a castle and feel like a real life princess. The rest of the venue was stunning as well, and the white walls and indoor decor made for the perfect backdrop to the ultimate dance party. Everything about this Utah County Wedding Venue was perfect.

The day after Chrissa and Derek’s wedding, we sent them about 70 sneak peak images and a 30 second teaser video. We wanted them to be able to relive their wedding day all over again the next day! This is the text we got back from Chrissa!
