Sidney and Dylan tied the knot at the Conrad Ranch wedding venue in Provo Canyon last Summer. Their wedding was a beautiful mountain wedding, filled with so much joy and laughter. Conrad Ranch set the backdrop for a luxurious, classy, and timeless experience. The best way to describe these wedding photos and videos is to say they were clean and classic, with true-to-color edits and a documentary-style shooting approach.
Mountain Wedding Feels at Conrad Ranch
As Utah Natives, we love to shoot Mountain Weddings. We feel most at home when we are in nature, soaking up God’s creations! Certainly, this is why Conrad Ranch in Provo, Utah was the perfect backdrop to this gorgeous Utah Summer Mountain Wedding. It was truly amazing to hold a wedding at Conrad Ranch overlooking the mountains, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Their special day was unforgettable and packed with pure joy because of the peaceful setting and breathtaking views.
First look gone wrong
Moments before Sidney and Dylan’s mountain wedding ceremony, Sidney told us that she wanted to pull a prank on Dylan. The plan was to wait until she walked down the aisle for him to see her wearing a dress for the first time. She told us to tell Dylan that she changed her mind and wanted to do a first look privately before the ceremony. Dylan was down for anything, his main goal was to make his bride happy so of course he was okay with it!
Dylan waited patiently for his lovely bride to tap his shoulder. When he finally felt a hand, he turned around, so excited to see the love of his life all dressed in white. What he saw was a wedding dress, but it was not being worn by Sidney. Instead of his bride, it was his best friend wearing a thrifted strapless dress. Sidney watched from the deck laughing hysterically at the moment, and Dylan and his friend shared a good laugh as well.
Moments during Utah Mountain Wedding turn into memories
After the pretend first look, Sidney came down the steps, and the two love birds stood back to back sharing private vows so that they could still have their moment before he saw her for the first time that day walking down the aisle towards him.
Between exchanging vows and the mountain wedding ceremony, Sidney shared a special first-look moment with her and Dylan’s dad. These two men are important to her and she wanted a special moment with both of them as well. The photos were so tender and full of so much emotion and love!
Meanwhile, between the ceremony and the reception, Sidney decided to cut her hair in the bridal room to celebrate her wedding on her terms – as she should! She looked beautiful and Dylan thought so too! She loved coming out onto the dance floor and surprising all her guests with her rocking new haircut!

The day after Sidney and Dylan’s Utah Mountain wedding, we sent them about 70 sneak peek images and a 30-second teaser video. We wanted them to be able to relive their wedding day all over again the next day! This is the text we got back from them!
